ABICE Sees Significant Increase in Student Enrolment

Enrolment at the Antigua and Barbuda International College of Education (ABICE) has surged, marking a significant milestone for the institution.

CABINET NOTES: The Cabinet was informed by the Minister of Education that enrollment at ABICE (Harrison Centre) has increased over the last year.

The highest number of students will be learning HVAC (air-conditioning and refrigeration), plumbing, followed by carpentry and masonry.

The institution is planning to roll out, in January, a training programme for heavy duty equipment operators, teaching men and women how to operate bulldozers, backhoes, excavators and other earth-moving equipment. A driver’s license is required for entry into the class.
