Trial for Bruce Greenaway’s Alleged Murderers Postponed Yet Again

It has been a grueling 2 years for the family and friends of the late Bruce Greenaway, as they await the hands of justice; their wait continues, as the trial date has been postponed once more.

The four law enforcement officers will have to wait another 4 months to attempt to prove their innocence in the matter.

The four were arrested in June of 2020 and charged with the murder of the 43-year-old, after Greenaway’s body was discovered at Indian Creek on April 13 – just a few days after being reported missing by his family. He appeared to have been strangled to death.

Police Officer Jason Modeste, along with Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force soldiers Shakiel Thomas, Armal Warner, and Aliyah Martin all denied involvement in the crime.

The four are currently not incarcerated as they were granted bail in September of last year in the sum of $40,000 with no cash component.

The new trial date is set for March 13, 2022.
