Transport Board Vehicle Inspection department at the Sir Sydney Walling’s Highway Facility closed on Monday after five staff members tested positive for COVID.
General Manager Hubert Jarvis told the media that a few other staff have reported feeling unwell.
He says rapid tests have been provided for all employees at various centres around the island.
The head office in Herbert’s have not been affected, Jarvis told the media.
The department at the governments motor pool seems to have escaped infections as well.
This department remains open to the public for business.
