Face-face learning to resume

Clare Browne, the Director of Education, met with Cabinet on Wednesday to advocate for the return of learning in a traditional classroom setting.

The decision was reached after several meetings with administrators from both primary and secondary schools, as well as the local teachers’ union and others.

The Cabinet received a report with suggestions on Tuesday.

On Wednesday the Cabinet asked a series of questions such as whether all students, vaccinated and unvaccinated, should return to class, if only vaccinated students and those under the age of 12 should return, or if remote learning should continue.
