Antigua & Barbuda is on display in Dubai at the ‘Expo Dubai 2020’ international exposition, which is themed ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.’
Antigua and Barbuda’s display, which is part of the expo’s ‘Mobility’ category, illustrates the Caribbeans country’ remarkable socioeconomic security.
Attending the ceremony was Minister of Tourism and Investment, The Honourable Charles Fernandez, and CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin C. James on Friday.
Fernandes stated that “Antigua and Barbuda’s participation at Expo Dubai 2020 is a momentous occasion and marks another milestone for our country on an international stage.
He stated that it was an honour to be a part of history, as it showcased the nation’s growth, as well as the very best Antigua and Barbuda, has to offer, ranging from luxury vacations to first-class business and investment possibilities.
“Not only that, but Expo Dubai 2020 is the perfect backdrop for the sharing of ideas and culture; particularly our move towards green energy and of course, our world-class talent which will also be on display,” Fernandez added.
On the night, James also stated that the team will take advantage of the opportunities available in Dubai.
“Expo Dubai 2020 will serve as an international platform for us to promote awareness of Antigua and Barbuda as a tourism destination, as well as to bring attention to our solid financial banking industry, ship registry options, and Citizenship by Investment program,” he added.
The Antigua and Barbuda team will host ‘Antigua and Barbuda’s Independence Day,’ a historical presentation for exhibition participants to mark Antigua and Barbuda’s 40th Anniversary of Independence on November 1, 2021.
