The JCI Antigua – Environment Awareness Program Committee will be hosting a Live Environmental Forum on June 3rd 2021 at 6:30pm via Zoom.
The EAP Committee’s primary role is to spread environmental awareness and find solutions to reduce waste or pollution in an effort to protect the community and the ecosystem.
According to Co-Chair of the EAP, Tia Herbert, the organization is playing it’s part in protecting the earth’s natural resources which are required for survival and development.
Herbert says the aim is to create a sustainable community through collective participation.
This forum which will feauture experts within the environmental sector who all will discuss environmental issues, share ideas and visions and develop a sense of awareness by educating the general public in understanding the fragility of the environment and why it’s important to protect and preserve.
Viewers have an opportunity to ask questions and have them answered.
The Panelists are; Arica Hill – Executive Director – The Environmental Awareness Group who will adress the topic of – “Creating a Sustainable Future through Dynamic Leadership”. Refica ‘Feeks’ Attwood – Executive Director of Walling’s Reserve- ” What it means to be a female leader on a sustainable project”. Mr. Ruelo A. Camacho – Marine Biologist will speak on the topic, “Coral Restoration”. Special Guest Speaker, Mr. Rory Butler will present on the theme, “Hiking & Hike Trails”.
