Christopher in stable Condition

35-year-old Omarie Christopher of  Golden Grove remains in stable conditions at the Mount St. John Medical Centre after been shot multiple times Monday afternoon in Point Community.

Christopher is a former employees at the Jolly Beach Resort who owns a shop in the area, was shot five times by an unknown assailant as he was conversing with friends on lower St. John’s street. 

After the shooting it is alleged that the assailant robbed Christopher of his watch and other valuables on his person and then fled the scene through a nearby alley.

Police PRO Inspector, Frankie Thomas has stated investigations are ongoing to determine if this was indeed a robbery gone wrong or an attempted murder
