Pringle promises to resign if UPP ever goes down Labour Party road, while Bird says he is making strides in Rural East

Leader of the Opposition Jamale Pringle is putting his career on the line.  He promises to leave his Party if the mismanagement and skullduggery now taking place under the Antigua Labour Party (ALP) Administration should ever occur under the United Progressive Party (UPP).

Sean Bird UPP Candidate for St Johns Rural East

During an outing on Observer AM on Tuesday, October 6, Pringle said he would resign if any member of the UPP were to be implicated in this type of behaviour.

Meanwhile, his colleague, Sean Bird, the UPP candidate for St. John’s Rural East, believes he has been making gains in that constituency a seat now held by Maria Bird Browne, wife of the Prime Minister and Bird’s cousin.

Bird says that constituents who are concerned about jobs and many other social issues have been welcoming him and the Party’s message.
