Prime Minister Gaston Browne will address the employees of LIAT 1974 Ltd. via zoom on Tuesday 7th July, 2020 at 10:00a.m.
Bargaining Agent for the LIAT employees in Antigua & Barbuda the Antigua & Barbuda Workers’ Union have invited employees to attend a meeting at the Union’s Headquarters on Newgate Street, organized to update the workers on ongoing events since the announcement of the Liquidation of the Airline. The Prime Minister has requested to address the employees to update them on his plans for the Regional Carrier.
Employees are being encouraged to contact their department steward for the zoom link if they are unable to attend in person. Also addressing the workers would be General Secretary of the Antigua & Barbuda Workers’ Union, Mr. David Massiah who will bring the employees up to date on the Pension Fund.
