The four individuals accused of killing 43-year-old Bruce Greenaway will appear before a judge and jury in July of next year to answer to the allegations.
Greenaway’s body was found at Indian Creek on April 13 last year – a few days after he was reported missing by his family. He appeared to have been strangled and an Autopsy done in May confirmed that asphyxiation was in fact his cause of death.
Just two months after his murder, the police arrested and charged police officer Jason Modeste, 45, along with DefenceForce soldiers Shakiel Thomas, 26, Armal Warner, 21, and Aliyah Martin, 21, with the gruesome murder.
The arrests came shortly after the Antigua and Barbuda Defense Force launched an investigation based on social media reports that said Greenaway was last seen in the company ABDF officers.
Earlier this year the four were granted bail in the sum of $40,000 with no cash component.
