DNA planning several Virtual Public Forums

The minority opposition party, the Democratic National Alliance DNA is planning a number of Virtual Public Forums to educate people about plans and policies.

Team Leader for the St Peter Constituency and member of the DNA Chaniel Imhoff says the time is ripe to change the level of engagements in Antigua and Barbuda.

“You always hear that cliché term to-be the change that you want to see. As we go I realized that it is much less cliché than we think. So we are being that change that you want to see.”

“ We want to have that level of discourse with the public when it comes to plans and policies of the DNA. It is about changing that level of discourse, educating and engaging the public,” Imhoff added.

She says the virtual platform is just as effective as the national rallies and public meetings.

“I always preach, finding people where they are and the crowd that you may get in person at an event like this may be a bit different than the crowd you will engage in something like this.”

“So it is very important for you to try to mix and match different communication styles so you can reach as many people as possible,” team Leader for the St Peter Constituency and member of the DNA Chaniel Imhoff said.
