Reports reaching Trumpet News indicate that there is a spike in covid in Antigua and Barbuda. Our newsroom has been reliably informed that there are 11 new laboratory confirmed Cases of Covid-19 to be announced later today.
Trumpet News can confirm, that there are 8 persons now at the Infectious Disease Centre (IDC) at Holberton Hospital. We further confirm that all 8 individuals are said to be having difficulty breathing and reported to be on ventilators.
With this new development, the Cabinet is deliberating to have the curfew hours start at 8 pm while several operations will be placed on strict operating time and others closed.
