The police are appealing to the public for assistance as they conduct further investigations into an alleged robbery at a barbershop located at Independence Drive,ย Tuesday night.ย The alleged incident occurredย around 7:45 pm, while the 43yr old owner was inside his business place.ย
It was reported that two armed suspects entered the shop and robbed him of an undisclosed sum of money, jewelry and his mobile phone.ย Another person who was at the shop at the time of the incident was also allegedly robbed of a mobile phone.

The owner was reportedly shot and injured in his right shin,ย after one of the assailants allegedly discharged a firearm, while fleeing the scene.
He was taken to the hospital where he received medical treatment and was later discharged.ย
