Senior Officers Engage in Executive Leadership Development Workshop

Sixteen senior officers are currently engaged in a one-week Senior Executive Leadership Development Workshop, at the Sir Wright F. George Police Training Academy, starting Monday 26th October. The participants comprise senior officers from the Police and Fire Department and Her Majesty’s Prison.

This is one of several training courses organized by the senior administration within the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda; in keeping with their Internal Development Training Plan for 2020.

During the week, participants will be lectured on subject matters such as; Synergy in Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Citizen Centered Leadership, Leading in Crisis Situation, Ethics in Law Enforcement, and Change Management, to name a few.

Since the beginning of July this year, approximately nine development training courses and over two hundred and twenty persons; including public and private security officers have benefitted from training at the Sir Wright F. George Police Training Academy.

This workshop in most parts is facilitated by Dr. Miguelle Christopher and a team from the Training Division.
