The Duchess of Edinburgh has visited a newly established eye care unit in St. John’s, where she met patients whose sight has recently been restored and members of the healthcare teams working to improve access to eye treatment.
The visit highlighted the importance of accessible eye care and the work being undertaken by medical professionals to help people with vision problems.
