September 30, 2026 – Kingstown: On September 29, 2026, police arrested and jointly charged Trent Stevens, a 25-year-old assistant receiver of Barrouallie; Phillan Stevens, a 23-year-old conductor of Barrouallie; Kevin Patterson, a 25-year-old chauffeur of Buccament; and Lorenzo Degrads, a 40-year-old chauffeur of Rillan Hill, with the offence of damage to property.
Investigations revealed that on March 6, 2026, the accused men allegedly, without lawful excuse, damaged the trunk and right side of an omnibus by throwing glass bottles at the vehicle. The omnibus belonged to a 39-year-old businessman of Victoria Village.
The offence was committed in Buccament.
The accused men were granted station bail in the sum of EC$1,500.00 each with one surety. They are expected to appear before the Layou Magistrate’s Court on October 1, 2026, to answer the charge.
