An 18-year-old Barbudan has been remanded to His Majesty’s Prison after facing multiple breaking and burglary charges stemming from incidents reported on Barbuda over the past two weeks.
Aaron Williams appeared before Magistrate Mighty on Tuesday, September 29, where he faced four separate charges linked to incidents allegedly committed between September 17 and September 25.
Williams is accused of breaking into a woman’s dwelling house on September 17 with intent to commit a felony, namely larceny.
He is also charged in connection with an alleged September 23 break-in at a man’s home, where two Samsung cellular phones and other property valued at approximately EC$3,215 were reportedly stolen.
A separate burglary charge relates to an incident allegedly committed on September 24.
Williams is further accused of breaking into another man’s dwelling house on September 25 with intent to commit a felony.
Following his appearance in court, Williams was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.
He is scheduled to return to court on December 18, 2026.
