Lee Yong Joo has passed away at 44 years old.
According to The Chosun Daily, the South Korean actor died of a heart attack on Saturday, August 29. A close friend of Lee Yong Joo announced the news on social media, saying it was sudden and hard to believe.
The funeral services are held at the Bundang Jesaeng Hospital Funeral Hall in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The burial will be on August 31 at Seongnam City Funeral Cultural Complex.

Lee Yong Joo is best known for the sitcom, “Blue Towers,” where he played Newbie Yoo Jung, a clumsy new recruit.
His other projects include “Uncontrollably Fond,” “Hello, Francesca,” and “Two Women’s Room.”
