A Form Five student has developed an app to help local market vendors promote and sell their produce.
Malachi Senhouse, a student of Trinity East, created the VendaTT application, which earned top recognition in an app-building competition hosted by the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute, CARIRI.
Senhouse met with Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence Minister Dominic Smith on Thursday to discuss the app and his plans to pursue a career in technology.
During the visit, Senhouse toured the ministry and met with staff from its ICT Department.
Smith also indicated that the ministry could offer Senhouse an internship when he is ready to gain workplace experience.
