Police Probe Vandalism at Three Government Offices Along Independence Drive

Police have launched an investigation after three public sector offices along Independence Drive were vandalised overnight, leaving glass doors at the buildings damaged.

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority (APUA), Treasury Department and Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Board were all targeted in what appear to be separate acts of vandalism.

The damage is believed to have occurred sometime between Tuesday night and the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Preliminary information suggests that despite the damage to the buildings, nothing was stolen from any of the offices.

It is not yet known whether the incidents are connected or if they were carried out by the same person or group.

Police are continuing their investigations into the matter.
