The Halo Foundation has announced the third year of its “Future Bright with the Gift of Sight” Eye Care Initiative, which provides free eye examinations and prescription glasses to people in need across Antigua and Barbuda.
The programme is delivered in partnership with Progressive Vision and supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Antigua and Barbuda.
Since its launch, the initiative has assisted more than 300 children, senior citizens and other vulnerable residents who may otherwise have been unable to afford proper eye care.
The Foundation said the programme is rooted in the belief that financial circumstances should not prevent anyone from accessing comprehensive eye examinations and corrective eyewear.
Founder and President of the Halo Foundation, Her Excellency Lady Williams, expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Switzerland for recognising the importance of the initiative and investing in the health and well-being of the people of Antigua and Barbuda.
The Foundation also thanked Dr Salem Zreibi and the team at Progressive Vision for their continued partnership and professional expertise.
According to the organisation, their commitment to delivering high-quality eye care has been instrumental in the programme’s success and has ensured that beneficiaries receive compassionate and dedicated service.
The Halo Foundation hopes to reach even more individuals and families requiring eye care during the third year of the initiative.
