The police are investigating two incidents of wounding which occurred during a dispute at a private residence in the Gray’s Farm area.
Reports indicate that a female suffered an injury to her head during an altercation with a man known to her, which reportedly stemmed from the occupancy of a house.
Further reports are that woman told police that during an argument she was grabbed by the throat and she used a baseball bat to defend herself. The man left and later returned with a cutlass and struck her in the head.
Police later encountered the male accused who had a head injury, which he said was inflicted during the earlier confrontation. Both individuals had bleeding wounds.
The two parties were reportedly transported to hospital for treatment by the Emergency Medical Services and police personnel.
