Police are investigating a violent home invasion in Kentish Road that left a 90-year-old woman and her caretaker injured.
The attack occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Friday, when two masked men armed with a gun and a knife confronted the women, demanded money, and struck them before forcing them to the floor.
The intruders ransacked the home, stealing two mobile phones and an undisclosed sum of coins. Both victims were taken to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
A police search of the area failed to locate the suspects, and the investigation is ongoing
