Police have made multiple arrests in connection with two serious crimes that occurred on July 16th.
Three individuals have been charged in connection with a young man’s death in St John’s. Two 22-year-old men from Villa, along with a 17-year-old also from Villa, are facing murder charges.
Authorities say additional suspects are still at large in relation to the case.
The 17-year-old from Villa has also been charged separately for an armed robbery that took place in Sutherlands on the same day. In that incident, a woman was robbed of $5,000 Eastern Caribbean dollars at gunpoint at a local supermarket.
Police are continuing their investigation and are seeking information from the public regarding both crimes.
