Princess Margaret School (PMS) added another trophy to their expanded trophy case after capturing the Girls Under-16 Schools Football championship on Monday, beating rivals Antigua Girls High School (AGHS) 2-1 at the ABFA’s Technical Center on the Sir Sydney Walling Highway.
National player Rolesha Humphreys led the charge for the victors, scoring both goals for PMS. Humphreys struck in the third and 11th minutes to put her team in control of the contest early on. National player, Nafisa Quashie, pulled a goal back for AGHS in minute 45. PMS would however, walk away with the title, their third title this season.
They had previously won the boys under-16 and boys under-20 titles.
