A soldier has tested positive for COVID-19 prompting Antigua and Barbuda Defense Force officials to place the entire department on mandatory lock down.
An inside source tells our newsroom the soldier in question reported feeling sick and was tested by a private doctor for the virus which returned positive.
The positive result forced the management of the ABDF to take immediate action including sending home all civilian staff and isolating all soldiers who may have come in contact with the COVID-19 positive soldier.
