The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) launched its 2025 Professional Learning Serieswith an exceptional start, featuring the highly anticipated Purchasing & Cost Control Management Certification Course. Held on March 5th and 6th at the Antigua & Barbuda Hospitality Training Institute, this course empowered participants with essential skills in managing purchasing activities and cost control measures to help businesses achieve financial and operational objectives.
The course was facilitated by Ms Shabera Treasure-Jacobs, a seasoned Hospitality Cost Control Professional, who led the two-day session, offering an engaging learning experience through case studies, hands-on exercises, interactive discussions, and learning games, all designed to ensure the practical application of key financial management principles.
