After forty-five (45) years of public service Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Safety and Labour Ms. Joan Carrott has retired. Ms. Carrott spent her last day on the job on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Attorney General and Minister for Legal Affairs, Public Safety, Immigration and Labour Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin commended Ms. Carrott for “a job well done”. Sir Steadroy described Ms. Carrott as an “outstanding and dedicated public servant”.
