Senator Phillip Shoul has been appointed as the new Vice President of the Senate, replacing Rawdon Turner.
The announcement was made this morning by Senate President Alinicia Williams-Grant.
Turner served in the vice presidential role for just a few months before being required to step down.
His departure from the Senate followed his election to the Lower House as the Member of Parliament for St Peter.
