The Government of ย Antigua and Barbudahas accorded the late Mr. Victor Emmanuel McKay, GCM an Official Funeral on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
In this regard flags on all Government buildings in the State and on embassies, missions and consulates overseas shall be flown at half-mast on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 the day of the Official Funeral.
The late Mr. Victor Emmanuel McKay served as Member of Parliament for St. Maryโs South from 1971 t0 1980. He was a member of the Progressive Labour Movement (PLM). He was born and July 1, 1940 and died on January 6, 2025.
The Official Funeral for the late Mr. Victor Emmanuel McKay, GCM will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine (Newgate Street) from 10:00am, followed by interment at the St. Johnโs Public Cemetery.
People attending the funeral are asked to be seated by 9:30am.
