Dozens of hospitality workers in Antigua & Barbuda gathered at the ABWU headquarters yesterday to discuss common concerns and devise strategies to elevate workers’ interests. In preparation for the Union and the Hotels Association Negotiations which was due to continue on 20th December 2024.
They also were given updates on the latest development at the Royaltan Resort regarding the strike action a few days ago. This meeting was part of a quarterly gathering of shop stewards within the Hospitality sector of the union
Their collective vision focused on creating a sector that prioritizes the workers’ well-being, sustainable growth, and shared prosperity, thus ensuring a brighter future for all workers in the hospitality sector.
