Local Entrepreneur Receives US$5,000 Grant to Launch Healthy Food Business
Rhonda Spencer was awarded a $5,000 microeconomic community grant today to launch her healthy food venture “Three Hearts Enterprise”. The 18-year culinary veteran plans to introduce healthier eating options to tourists and locals, featuring vegan and vegetarian cuisines alongside local artisan crafts.
The grant comes from Caring for Others, a nonprofit organization that announced it will bring its International Poverty Forum to Antigua in March 2026. Founded by Eslene Richmond Shockley in 2001, the organization now operates globally across South Africa, Guyana, Grenada, and Antigua.
