Police are investigating a violent assault that occurred on Dickenson Bay Street, during which a 50-year-old man successfully defended himself against three masked attackers, injuring one of his assailants.
During the altercation, the victim managed to draw a knife and stab one of the attackers in the shoulder. Following the injury to their accomplice, all three assailants fled on foot, heading north toward the Villa area.
The victim sustained a wound to his forehead during the attack and was taken for medical observation.
Police searched for the three suspects but were unable to locate them.
An investigation is underway, with officers working to identify and apprehend the attackers.
