Torturer Gym, a leader in fitness and community empowerment, has supported three exceptional bikini athletes who are set to represent the nation in the Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados.
The athletes, Makiva Elvin, Narrica Ballyntine and Sharon Henry, have demonstrated unwavering dedication, discipline, and excellence in their sport. As they prepare to compete overseas, Torturer Gym has stepped in to assist in a financial way. This contribution reaffirms the gym’s commitment to advancing athletic potential and supporting its members beyond the gym floor.
“We believe in the power of sport to inspire and unite,” said Joseph Meade, owner of Torturer Gym. “These three women exemplify the strength, resilience, and determination that define our community. It’s our honor to support their journey and ensure they can focus entirely on competing at the highest level.”
The trio will be competing at the Roger Boyce Classic in Barbados, representing not only their country but also the values of hard work and perseverance that Torturer Gym promotes every day.
“This support means the world to us,” said Elvin. “Preparing for an international stage is demanding, and knowing our gym has assisted us financially and emotionally gives us the confidence to give it everything.”
All of the athletes will be competing in the Bikini Segment with Elvin in the Pro Category which takes place on Sunday 11th May and Ballantine and Henry in the amateur segment on Saturday, where they will hope to attain their PRO Card.
As they step onto the global stage, Torturer Gym encourages the community to rally behind these athletes and celebrate the strength of local talent making waves worldwide.
