SkyTiger Services and Good Humans 268 join forces to clean up Shell Beach

On Saturday, May 9, volunteers from SkyTiger Cares — the charitable arm of SkyTiger Services — and community group Good Humans 268 came together to give Shell Beach a much-needed facelift. In celebration of Earth Day 2025, the team rolled up their sleeves and spent the morning cleaning up a stretch of the popular beach, removing several bags of litter left behind by previous visitors, a release from SkyTiger Services said.

“The goal of the collaboration is help protect the island’s natural beauty and remind everyone that we all share the responsibility of keeping our public spaces clean. There was a lot of litter found in this area, despite the many garbage bins nearby,” expressed Chantel Nicholas of SkyTiger Services.

She also encouraged people to do their part and clean up after themselves when they visit the beach.

The effort didn’t stop at the sand. As part of their Earth Day campaign, the team will also head into local schools over the coming weeks to plant trees. It’s a chance to give back to the environment while helping students connect with nature and learn more about sustainability.

SkyTiger Cares and Good Humans 268 are both passionate about building a cleaner, greener future for Antigua and Barbuda. This initiative is just one of many small steps toward that goal.
