Sunday’s Antigua & Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association Championship featured twin comeback victories in Women’s Division 2, with both winning teams overturning first-set deficits to claim 2-1 victories.
Starz 2 defeated Paragons 2 after dropping the opening set 22-25. They responded with a convincing 25-16 second set before closing out the match with a 15-11 win in the decider. The victory came through improved serving and more disciplined net play as the match progressed.
In similar fashion, Eagles 1 overcame Dynasty Volleyball 1 after losing the first set 23-25. Eagles adjusted tactically to take the second set 25-21 and maintained their momentum in the final set, securing a 15-11 victory.
League play continues next weekend with matches scheduled across all divisions.
