Night of Champions’ Basketball Finals set for Sunday at JSC Sports Complex

The Ministry of Sports, in collaboration with Cool & Smooth/Joma, will host the eagerly anticipated “Night of Champions” basketball finals on April 6 at the JSC Sports Complex, featuring five championship matchups across multiple age divisions.

The action begins at 2:30pm with the Minigirls Primary Finals where Greenbay Primary take on Five Islands Primary. At 3:00pm, Cedar Grove Primary will face Greenbay Primary in the Miniboys Primary Finals, with Greenbay aiming for titles in both primary categories.

St Joseph’s Academy will challenge Princess Margaret School (PMS) in the Miniboys Secondary Finals at 4:00pm, followed by PMS returning to the court at 4:40pm against Antigua Grammar School (AGS) in the Junior Boys Finals.

The day concludes with a highly anticipated Senior Boys championship matchup between AGS and Clare Hall Secondary School, featuring Clare Hall’s standout performer Tajahron Davis, who has been in exceptional form this season.

Admission is $10 for adults across all games, while children can attend for $5.

Tuesday’s recent action saw AGS dominate St Mary’s Secondary 76-27, with Najee Simonsscoring 13 points for the winners. Clare Hall Secondary defeated Antigua State College 50-36 behind impressive performances from Orion Seraphine (22 points) and Tajahron Davis(21 points).
