SURVEYOR REVEALS ALFA NERO WAS WORTH LESS THAN ITS US$40M SALE PRICE

The Government has welcomed a revelation the professional who surveyed the Alfa Nero superyacht, who has disclosed the vessel was worth significantly less than its sale price of US$40M.
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says the new information shows his administration made every effort to secure the best return for taxpayers.
The new information also comes as Prime Minister Browne remains confident the Government will prevail against recent lawsuits.
The Prime Minister says the claimant, Yulia Guryeva-Motlokhov, made scandalous, malicious and entirely false accusations, in cahoots with whom he is calling desperate political opponents here in Antigua.
Garfield Burford reports.
