The Antigua Grammar School (AGS) U19 team was spectacular on Monday when they defeated Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) by 50 runs in the Ministry of Sports Schools Under 19 Championship, powered by Anthony Pierre‘s explosive century and Hosea Roberts‘ aggressive half-century.
AGS posted an imposing 201/1 in their allotted 15 overs, with Pierre smashing an unbeaten 108 off just 57 deliveries, including 15 fours and four sixes at a strike rate of 189.5. Roberts provided excellent support with 65 from 32 balls, striking eight fours and three sixes.
