The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) hosted its first Breakfast Meeting for 2025 at Royalton CHIC Antigua, bringing together key industry stakeholders within the Membership.

Discussions included:
✅ Industry Updates – Presented by Colin James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA), shared updates on the destination’s tourism performance and marketing strategies.
✅ Caribbean Marketplace Opportunities – Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Acting CEO, Vanessa Ledesma, highlighted opportunities for participation in Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025.
✅ Enhancing Safety & Security – presented by Minister Charles “Max” Fernandez announced plans for a police outpost, CCTV cameras, and lifeguard towers in Dickenson Bay to improve visitor safety.


✅ Upcoming ABHTA Biennial General Meeting – presented by ABHTA Chairman Craig Marshall, he announced that the Bi-ennial General Meeting will be held on June 19, 2025, where a new Board of Directors will be elected.
✅ Introducing ArriveAntigua.com – Presented by invited guests Zach and Erich Wellemeyer from ZEN Border Intelligence. Their presentation focused on ArriveAntigua.com, an innovative platform, that is currently in operation at the V.C. Bird International Airport, designed to streamline the electronic entry and exit process for travelers to Antigua and Barbuda.
