Antiguan authorities have issued an alert for a missing fishing vessel and its operator.
The MOYA, a 30-foot grey launch with white wheelhouse and 250 horsepower Isuzu inboard engine, has been reported missing with Mathias Greenway of Old Runaway, Antigua aboard.
The vessel, bearing registration number V2-547 PW, has prompted a search operation coordinated by local fisheries officials.
Mariners are requested to report any sightings to the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force Coast Guard via VHF channel 16 or by calling (268) 462-3206, (268) 462-2841, or (268) 462-2843.
Chief Fisheries Officer Ian Horsford has issued the alert as part of ongoing efforts to locate the missing vessel and ensure Greenway’s safe return.
