Blackburn Palace were huge 9-1 winners over Tamo FC as action in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Second Division resumed at venues across the island on Wednesday, following a break for Group A play in the Concacaf Under-20 Girls Qualifiers.
Four players recorded braces as Palace ran a clinic on a young Tamo squad at the Princess Margaret School playing field.
Diandre Harrigan opened the scoring for Palace when he struck in the fifth minute before scoring a second in minute 71. There was a double as well Shannoy Spencer who struck in minutes 19 and 63 while Jameal Lawrence hit the back of the net in minutes 57 and 63. Jahmari George got in on the action as well, scoring in minutes 40 and 75 while Mario Lewis struck once, hitting the back if the net in minute 66.
Kevin Paul scored the lone goal for Tamo FC when he scored in minute 23.
There was victory as well for Belmont FC as they edge Real Blizzard one-nil when they met at the Tryum playing field.
Malique Edwards scored the lone goal of the contest with a close range effort in the 33rd minute.
Meanwhile, CPTSA Wings and Earthquakes played to a scoreless draw while West Ham defaulted to English Harbour FC. The Point team could not find enough players to start the match at the sound of the starting whistle thus gifting Harbour three points and three goals.
