The Antigua and Barbuda government is advancing plans for a $21 million renal center at the Old Holberton Hospital site, expected to be completed by year’s end.
Prime Minister Gaston Browne highlighted its role in addressing the rising demand for dialysis treatment and easing pressure on Mount St. John’s Medical Centre.
The facility will feature modern dialysis machines and specialized care. Browne also reaffirmed commitments to expanding healthcare services, including a planned cardiac unit and further development of the site into a healthcare hub.
