Tanisha Balson has been officially crowned Miss Dominica 2025.
Balson put on an impressive performance at the competition held at Windsor Park Stadium on Thursday night.
Sponsored by the Central Cooperative Credit Union, Balson stood out throughout the event, capturing several of the awards including the awards for the national spectacular creation segment, performing talent, and the evening wear segment.
Aliyah Jean Jacques also put on an impressive performance earning her the first runner-up position. Throughout her presentations, she highlighted her passion for creating awareness about the protection of the ocean and marine life.
The second runner-up position was claimed by Meeya Francis, who was on her second attempt at the Miss Dominica title having previously competed in 2023.
Francis captured the awards for the swimwear segment and had the best community project.

The event showcased the talent and dedication of all the contestants, with each participant bringing their unique strengths to the stage.
The Queen show committee put on a spectacular production themed ‘Olympia’ recognising Thea Lafond-Gadson, who earned Dominica’s first gold at the 2024 Olympic Games and Dominica’s sporting community.
