Antigua and Barbuda’s House of Representatives President Welcomes Cuban Ambassador, Reinforcing Solidarity and Collaboration

President of the House of Representatives in Antigua and Barbuda receives Ambassador of Cuba
The President of the House of Representatives of Antigua and Barbuda Hon. Osbert Richard Frederick, received at the Parliament the Ambassador of Cuba Sergio Martinez González. During the fraternal meeting, the Cuban diplomat delivered to the President of the House of Representatives messages of congratulations sent by the President of the ANPP and the State Council of the Republic of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez and Aylin Justiz Aguila President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship Cuba-Antigua and Barbuda. In the exchange, the highest figure of the Ancient Chamber, transferred to the Cuban ambassador a message of solidarity and unconditional support of the legislative body, to the battle that the Cuban people face for more than 60 years against the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the Government from U.S.A. Appreciated the solidarity work that for years have done Cuban collaborators in Antigua and Barbuda, especially in support of the country’s public health system, highlighting the fundamental role of our collaboration in the positive levels of care and quality of health services that the people of today receive Antique and Barbuda. Among other topics discussed was the interest of strengthening ties and collaboration between the parliaments of Antigua and Barbuda and Cuba.
