The Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) says it remains resolute in its efforts to combat sexual offences, particularly those involving minors and vulnerable persons.
The police made this statement following the recent arrests of two men for unlawful sexual intercourse.
Julius Brown, a 21-year-old labourer of Diamonds was arrested and charged for committing the offense against a 13-year-old.
The police say the offence reportedly occurred on September 6, 2024.
Meantime, Kevante Cockburn, a Lowmans Windward resident was charged with multiple sexual offences against a minor.
The 18-year-old was arrested and charged on January 25 with three counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and one count of indecent assault involving a 13-year-old.
Police indicated the offences occurred between August 6 and 7 last year.
Due to the sensitive nature of these cases and to protect the identity and well-being of the minors involved, no further details were disclosed.
The police have urged the public to remain vigilant and report all cases of sexual offences involving minors or vulnerable individuals.
