Moesha Wright and Natherna Rodgers from Bishopsgate Street are facing serious charges for receiving stolen goods worth $127,675. Their court hearing, originally scheduled for yesterday, has been moved to November 25.
The charges relate to a burglary at Everything Hair 268 on Old Parham Road between March 31 and April 1, where over 100 wigs and various hair products were stolen. Wright and Rodgers are facing more severe charges compared to their co-accused, Jahshsiene Green, who admitted to receiving stolen wigs valued at $2,120 and was fined $700.
The upcoming committal hearing will determine if Wright and Rodgers’ case will proceed to the High Court due to the significant value of the stolen goods.
