Authorities have arrested two women from Belmont and Potters in connection with a fraud investigation involving “Box Hands” or “Sou-Sou” savings schemes. Clients have reported losing thousands of dollars, with many unable to retrieve their investments or even reach the women. In response to these complaints, police executed search warrants at their residences on Thursday evening. Officials are warning the community to thoroughly vet anyone involved in such financial arrangements to avoid falling victim to similar scams.
