As leader of the United Progressive Party, I want to address the recent resignations, particularly that of Mr. Damani Tabor. I appreciate his service and wish him well.
Unfortunately, it appears some members are trying to undermine our Party through staged resignations, hoping to pressure me into stepping down. Despite being elected by the majority, I face resistance from those unwilling to collaborate.
These actions raise concerns about their commitment to democracy. The UPP has always prioritized people, and my journey reflects the opportunities we create. I may not have the same resources as some, but my dedication and the trust of my constituents are unwavering.
I am committed to leading the UPP and serving the people of Antigua and Barbuda. Together, we will demonstrate that with hard work, dreams can be achieved.
