Construction to Begin on Booby Alley Housing Development Project
Construction on the Booby Alley Housing Development Project, a significant initiative of Prime Minister Gaston Browne’s government, is set to commence next month. The ZhongAn HuaLi Construction Group, a Chinese firm, is expected to arrive in Antigua and Barbuda this week to begin work.
Ambassador Clarence Pilgrim has officially handed over the Dredge Bay site to the construction team, marking a key milestone for the project, which aims to provide condominium-type homes within 24 months. Chang Yun, Director of Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Chinese Embassy, expressed gratitude to the government for preparing the site in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth start to the development.
As the project unfolds, it promises to contribute significantly to the housing landscape in Antigua and Barbuda.
